COPENHAGEN FASHION LIBRARY - AN INITIATIVE WE LOVE

COPENHAGEN FASHION LIBRARY - AN INITIATIVE WE LOVE

Fashion is elusive to many. But it shouldn’t be if you ask us. Fashion should be tangible, written about, photographed and made easy to study close-up!

That’s why we love and support MODEBIBLIOTEKET, Copenhagen Fashion Library, that will launch in February 2018 during Copenhagen Fashion Week AW18. The curated collection of books, magazines and digital media occupy a specially designed and furnished part of the Østerbro Library, Copenhagen, aiming to open up the world of fashion to all kinds of people – to inspire and to de-mystify.

“To me, libraries are a cornerstone in our society – for immersion, knowledge and inspiration. I will follow Copenhagen Fashion Library closely and will happily support - with knowledge, donations of works and attendance or lecturing at special events", says designer Mads Nørgaard.

Copenhagen Fashion Library is conceptualised by MOON-international.com as a library-within-the-library but cleverly designed to challenge the traditional bookshelves labyrinth. Inside you’ll find Danish and international magazines galore, fashion biographies, photo art and lots of digital resources providing.

MODEBIBLIOTEKET will launch during Copenhagen Fashion Week in January 2018.
