Okay. October is here and so are we. Back with more good stuff to eat, drink and do. As always, we have gathered a handfull of things that we’ll be spending time on throughout October. We highly suggest you do the same. Don’t feel blue about the true coming of autumn. Instead buy a warm scarf and a nice umbrella. See you out and about.
A talented young man
One of our most promising young artists, Alexander Tovborg, is showing his latest work at Kunstforeningen Gl. Strand. Titled ‘Troens Ridder’ (Knight of Faith), he’s is on his continued path of combining religion and mythology with modern art. The centerpiece of the exhibition is a scaled-down inflatable version of Noah’s Ark. It’s quite the sight. One that you do not want to miss.

Flavor of the month
One intense night club after the next is popping up in Copenhagen these days. We prefer a place where we can actually talk to each other without losing your voice. Lucky for us, one such is debuting – or actually returning – early October. And Brønnum might take the prize for most beautiful watering hole with its location in the old ticket office in the Royal Theatre. Behind the bar is the seasoned veterans in charge of Ruby and Lidkøb. This means that great cocktails is guaranteed.

Back in business
Big news in Østerbro. The design-stalwart, Normann Copenhagen, is finally back in business. And if you ask us, the shop is looking better than ever. If it wasn’t already, the new Normann Copenhagen is definitely the place to go for any interior need you may have – big as well as small. We are to be represented in this insanely beautiful space. Ever needed af solid reason to take a bike ride to Østerbro? This is it!

Cool cat in Copenhagen
The ambassador of cool is back in Denmark. Yasiin Bey aka. Mos Def is holding court in Vega and there is still tickets to be had. The Brooklyn-bread rapper is a rare live-occurrence these days, so don’t miss out when he’s in town. We love this multitalented guy for his cool exterior, his honest nature and his substantial lyrics.
