Once again, Mads Nørgaard – Copenhagen launches Culture Friday and offers a wide range of cultural experiences – both in Denmark and now also in Berlin. On Friday November 29th, from 00:00 and for 24 hours, anyone who shops at Mads Nørgaard’s stores or online can choose a free gift card with their purchase.
This year, Culture Friday covers 12 Danish cultural venues and one in Berlin. Choose either a gift card to Louisiana in Humlebæk, Grand Teatret in Copenhagen, the Planetarium in Copenhagen, DAC – Danish Architecture Center in Copenhagen, Gammel Strand in Copenhagen, Trapholt in Kolding, CLAY in Middelfart, Vejen Art Museum in Vejen, Kunsten in Aalborg, Fuglsang Art Museum on Lolland, Brandts Art Museum in Odense, or Schinkel Pavilion in Berlin.

Passion for art
In 2022, Mads Nørgaard – Copenhagen launched Culture Friday in response to the international consumer phenomenon, Black Friday. Instead of being part of the huge sales day, the fashion house wanted to use its platform to focus on an area close to their hearts, namely art and culture.
Since its beginning in 1986, the brand has collaborated with both young talents and established names in the art scene. Recently, with Argentine pop artist Marta Minujíns on the occasion of her solo exhibition at Copenhagen Contemporary, the Danish artist group Superflex, and Swedish performance artist Arvida Byström in connection with the art event CHART 2024 in Copenhagen.
Culture Friday at Mads Nørgaard – Copenhagen takes place on Friday, November 29th, 2024, from 00:00 and for 24 hours. All gift cards can be redeemed online, cover an entrance ticket to the selected cultural institution, and are valid for one year. The ticket will be sent directly to customers by post.
