The world is constantly in flux – some things have to remain the same. Today, this ribbed one-size t-shirt is still produced locally in Denmark: knitted in Ikast, dyed in Herning, and assembled in our sewing facility in Korsør. One-size as always, soft and comfortable in #100 BCI cotton. And designed for everyone.

MY FIRST #101
I was probably breastfed in my first #101. A proto. The very first one, ecru-black with a red neckline.
– Mads, founder of Mads Nørgaard - Copenhagen
I was 19 when I got my first #101, back when I started as a trainee in 1993. It was black, because that was Nørgaard’s uniform. You could choose between black, white or black-and-white striped.
– Sine, with Nørgaard paa Strøget since 1993
My first #101 was one my mom gave me when I was about 2 years old. I remember it as bright red.
– Bibi, with Nørgaard paa Strøget since 2022
My first #101 was a Kay, because it’s almost the color combi is perfect for layering.
– Lukas, with Mads Nørgaard – Copenhagen since 2023
My first was Broadway Black/Ecru, because it’s just classic and nice!
– Tina, with Nørgaard paa Strøget since 2023
My first #101 was one in wool. Because I’m the black sheep of the family – hahaha.
– Dorrit, with Nørgaard paa Strøget since 2021
My first #101 I had as a baby. I have a picture of myself at 2–3 years old wearing a turqouise #101.
– Cornelia, with Nørgaard paa Strøget since 2024
My first #101 was candy-colored, because it went well with a dark blue military shirt from the second-hand shop Roger in Copenhagen. That was back in the early 80s.
– Pernille, with Nørgaard paa Strøget since 1983
My first was a kids’ 101 in red and shocking pink. But I clearly remember being a teenager and absolutely loving the purple one – paired with a pair of Lee jeans.
– Amalie, with Nørgaard paa Strøget since 2018
My very first #101 was a Broadway in black and white with a blue collar. I was zero years old. A forced #101, haha.
– Hugo, with Nørgaard paa Strøget since 2022
