We are super excited to launch our new collaboration between jewelry designer Trine Tuxen and Mads Nørgaard. Combining her signature necklaces with Mads Nørgaard’s iconic stripes, Trine Tuxen has created three medallions to be worn by both men and women.

Jewelry is no new thing to women. But some might say that a watch is the only acceptable piece of jewelry a man can wear. With our latest collaboration with the talented Trine Truxen, that is no longer the case.

“I’ve always felt like wearing jewelry, but I never got around to do it. When Trine suggested creating three unisex ornaments I was immediately attracted to the idea. I’ve always been envious of gold and shining elements used in rap music, and I’m looking forward to wearing a bit more bling than I do today,” says Mads Nørgaard.

Having established her own eponymous jewelry brand in Copenhagen in 2012, Trine Tuxen has gone from one to watch to one to define the small but talented fine jewelry scene in Denmark. Her design exposes a strong Nordic minimalism with nods to handcraft tradition and historical attributes. The collaboration marks her first voyage into a male universe.

“My designs rely on simple forms and a clean expression, so I’ve often been encouraged to create unisex ornaments. Mads Nørgaard has a unique sense of speaking to both men and women, and style wise I believe we are a great fit,” says Trine Tuxen.

The range include a thick and thin Venecia chain in three different lengths. The medallions are 925 sterling silver gold plated with 14 carat gold.

Trine Tuxen x Mads Nørgaard are sold in Nørgaard paa Strøget and at trinetuxenjewelry.com from November 26th at 4pm.
