In connection with CHART ART FAIR, Nørgaard have teamed up with the british artist Martin Creed.
Originally presented as part of the illustrious 2014 solo exhibition What’s The Point of It? at The Hayward Gallery in London, British artist Martin Creed presents for the first time in Denmark two of his most celebrated sound works. Installed in the dressing rooms of Mads Nørgaard’s women’s department two looping sound pieces. Work No.401 Blowing a raspberry and Work No. 412 Laughing transform the intimate action of trying on clothes into an absurd and humorous sensual experience.

Martin Creed
Over the past 30 years, the Turner Prize-winning artist Martin Creed (1968- ) has embraced a variety of techniques including sculpture, painting, neon, writing, film, installation, music, dance and performance. His pieces range from compositions for symphony orchestra to architectural commissions, public monuments and dance performances. He often works directly in the gallery or museum space before an exhibition, presenting his art not as a defined concept, but as something immediate, creative, live and participatory.
CHART ART FAIR
CHART ART FAIR was founded in 2013 by Galleri Susanne Ottesen, Galleri Bo Bjerggaard, V1 Gallery, Andersen's Contemporary and David Risley Gallery. The aim was to established an international platform for contemporary
art in the region. Since it's inception CHART has established itself as the leading Nordic contemporary art fair, building on the Nordic tradition of collaboration and presenting the invited
galleries in unison within the historic halls of Kunsthal Charlottenborg in Copenhagen.
Representing 33 of the leading contemporary art galleries from the Nordic region, CHART ART FAIR returns to the Royal Danish Academy of Fine Arts Kunsthal Charlottenborg in Copenhagen
for its 5th edition from 1 - 3 September 2017.
