Art plays a significant role at Mads Nørgaard. We always make sure our window displays are artistically inviting and inspiring – but when it comes to the doorknob it gets physical for real. Since we are positively obsessed with details we have decided to give the doorknob a little extra love.
We have asked our good friend and frequent collaborator Thomas FOS Poulsen to design a doorknob to our Tullinsgade stores in Copenhagen. By doing so art becomes the first thing you interact with when visiting our stores.
Will it actually be a knob, a handle or maybe something completely new? Come and find out for yourself.
To celebrate our new doorknobs we’ll throw a Doorknob Vernissage complete with coffee and croissants from Granola:

The doorknob by FOS will be a living part of our stores every day onwards – and you are more than welcome to touch the artwork as much as you want.
